Shaping the future: Our strategy for research and innovation in humanitarian response.
Minimum Reporting Package – dissemination of tools and key advocacy messages – has been busy throughout November with preparations for the external launch of CMAM Report. The e-learning tool was completely redesigned and updated to match the latest version of the software. We soft-launched this tool with current partners alongside with the updated software manuals and the newly developed video tutorials in order to get feedback before the external launch. From previous occasions we learned that adequate supportive materials are crucial to provide effective assistance to new and current users.
In line with this we have just started to translate all supportive materials and the software into French for use in francophone countries.
Software development continued in November with the penultimate batch of changes under development. These will include several improvements on graphs, closing and re-opening of feeding sites and deleting monthly reports.
We are currently drafting an article on the MRP/CMAM Report development process for publication in the next edition of ENN’s Field Exchange and hope to place another article in a peer review magazine.
Introduction calls with WHO and UNICEF on CMAM Report and its future use received positive feedback. Further advocacy will be done closer to the launch date.
