Freddy Bob-Jones is the managing director of Aceli Africa, where he leads the organisation’s work across Africa, building partnerships to increase private-sector lending and improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in East/Southern Africa.
Before joining Aceli Africa, Freddy served as the Head of Operations at SEMA Reproductive Health, where he played a key role in establishing the multi-million dollar initiative funded by the Gates Foundation, CIFF, and the French Government to shape sexual and reproductive health markets in Africa. He has held senior roles at IPPF, PwC & UK civil service, where he led large-scale international development initiatives across Africa and Asia, contributing to significant social impact and economic reforms.
Freddy’s expertise spans strategy, operations, business development, and cross-cultural leadership, with a proven track record of delivering results in emerging markets. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a Master’s in Development Economics from the University of Manchester.
