Shaping the future: Our strategy for research and innovation in humanitarian response.
Family tracing and reunification practices in emergencies are long-winded and inefficient leaving children vulnerable to violence, exploitation and trafficking. RapidFTR is designed to streamline and speed up family tracing and reunification (FTR) efforts both in the immediate aftermath of a crisis and during ongoing recovery efforts. The technology’s versatility and open-source nature allows for each organisation to use it on a device of their choosing as well as share data safely between organisations when necessary. The final project report provides information on the project methodology, activities, outputs, impact and dissemination of learning.
