Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 pa + benefits

Save the Children UK are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support ELRHA.

The role will require working with and influencing senior stakeholders and as such requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to challenge and influence assertively and cooperatively. Of equal importance is your desire to enhance understanding of the business areas and apply sound commercial judgement. You will need strong analytical, problem-solving and excel skills and the ability to work with various IT systems.

The successful Finance Business Partner will join a strong, ambitious and commercially-oriented Finance team at Save the Children UK, responsible for supporting, challenging and enabling the business areas to maximise impact for children through delivery of a strong financial performance.

About You

You will ideally be a qualified accountant with strong finance and accounting experience in the commercial or charity sector. This role would suit an individual looking to develop their commercial acumen, awards management and finance business partnering skills in an innovative and ambitious organisation.

What we offer

In return we offer a competitive sector salary of £36,000 – £38,000 pro rata plus benefits, development and the opportunity to help develop a ‘best in sector’ finance service to support leaders in the sector to create dramatic change for children.

Please note that the closing date for this role is midnight on Wednesday 18th February 2015. This role will be offered as a six month fixed term contract following a successful DBS check on the appointed candidate.
