Grant Gordon

Grant Gordon is the Senior Director of Innovation Strategy at the International Rescue Committee, where he supports the organisation’s innovation portfolio on humanitarian response and forced migration. Prior to joining the IRC, Grant worked in the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations, the UN Office of Humanitarian Coordination, as well as for a set of humanitarian NGOs. Grant has extensive experience working in conflict zones and fragile settings, including in the Syria regional response, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Somalia and Haiti. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
