Larina joined Elrha in 2022 as Programme Coordinator for the Global Prioritisation Exercise (GPE). She supports the overall coordination and delivery of key outcomes under the GPE, an ambitious research initiative of Elrha that aims to identify and prioritise global humanitarian research and innovation needs to improve outcomes for people affected by crises.

Before joining Elrha, Larina coordinated and managed several Humanitarian Aid and DRR programmes in India while working for Caritas India and the IFRC-TISS Certificate Programme in Disaster Management. Larina has an MA in Disaster Management and an MSc in International Development from the University of Bristol.

Larina’s keen interest in humanitarian research and policy enables her to review the GPE through a critical lens and contribute to achieving its end goal – that solutions to pressing humanitarian needs are timely, appropriate, adequate and reach the right populations.
