Shaping the future: Our strategy for research and innovation in humanitarian response.
Greetings from Nairobi!
This past October we were in Nairobi to present our latest project findings at the 3rdInternational Water Association Development Congress. However, the other reason we made the long trip from Quebec City to Nairobi was to receive our Global Winner prize in the Drinking Water Applied Research category for the Project Innovation Awards-Development. These awards aim to celebrate excellence and innovation in water and sanitation projects in low and middle income countries. Further information on this award is available here: http://www.iwa-pia.org/piadev_winners.html
This project and its accolade are due to a team effort and so we have to thank our project partners (Oxfam GB, RedR-India, and Aquaplus) and of course the Humanitarian Innovation Fund (HIF) that has made all this possible!
Cheers!
Caetano
