WHAT HUMANITARIAN NEED IS BEING ADDRESSED?

Disaster Preparedness, Resilience and Risk Reduction

WHAT IS THE INNOVATIVE SOLUTION?

Healthsites is creating the tools and methods to integrate health service providers, governments, and volunteers in order to have a multi-source collection of health facility information.
To improve service delivery within the healthcare sector, analysis and planning activities require open and accurate health facility data.
Healthsites partners with organizations and national health agencies to establish health facility data and the tools necessary to upload, manage and make the data easily accessible.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Our expected outcomes are focused on improving quality and access to health facility data:
National health agency data published under an open data license.
Increased access to health facility data that captures both public and private facilities
Improved health facility data quality in the form of better location coordinates, updated service availability, and status.
