Menstrual Hygiene Management in Emergencies Toolkit
Share This
The number of displaced people globally continues to increase. Many displaced girls and women are struggling to manage their monthly menstruation safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
The Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in Emergencies Toolkit project is a collaboration between Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and the International Rescue Committee. The research project contributed to the evidence available on MHM in emergencies and to the development of the MHM in emergencies toolkit, in partnership with the global humanitarian response community.
The toolkit provides practical guidance and tools for planning, implementing and monitoring MHM programming. English, Arabic and French versions are available.
