The R2HC programme aims to improve health outcomes for people affected by humanitarian crises by strengthening the evidence base for public health interventions.
R2HC is seeking a consultant or small team based at an academic institution to design a research protocol for a dynamic multi-country undernutrition prevention intervention study, in support of our AHEAd Nutrition Initiative. The study will be implemented by NGOs or UN agencies with existing nutrition programmes in humanitarian contexts, and the intervention will be tailored to the causal pathways for undernutrition in each setting. It is therefore important that a robust yet adaptable research protocol is created in order to standardise the research elements at each study site.

The intended start date is April 2025, and the period of implementation of the contract will be approximately 8 months until December 2025.
